• Identifiers: Your name, email address, and profile picture securely retrieved via Google Single Sign-On (SSO).
• User Preferences: Your saved watchlists, subscription plans, tracking schedules, and priority configurations.
• Technical Data: Your IP address, browser type, and operating system collected automatically by our hosting infrastructure (Firebase Hosting) for security, debugging, and optimization purposes.

3. How We Use Your Data (Lawful Basis)

Under UK and EU data protection laws, we must have a "lawful basis" to handle your data. We process your data under:

• Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR (Performance of a Contract):
  [In Plain English]: We collect and store your selected movie lists, active services, and login identifiers solely to make the application save your progress across devices and keep you logged in as requested. We do not use this data for any marketing or advertising.

4. Third-Party Data Processors

To run this application efficiently, we utilize select, trusted industry-standard infrastructure providers:

• Google Firebase: Our primary infrastructure for secure authentication and cloud data storage. Data is stored safely within US-based data centers under strict safety controls, utilizing Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) to ensure equivalent protection levels.
• The Movie Database (TMDB): We dynamically fetch movie/show metadata and images from TMDB. While we never share your profile, watchlists, or credentials with TMDB, your browser interacts directly with their global API to load posters and summaries.

5. Your Rights (UK, EU, & International)

You hold full ownership and control over your data. At any point, you can exercise the following rights directly inside HopStream or by reaching out to us:

• Right to Access: Request a copy of all information HopStream holds about you.
• Right to Erasure (The Right to be Forgotten): Instantly delete your user account, favorites, and saved lists at any time.
• Right to Rectification: Correct any inaccurate profile details.
• Right to Lodge a Complaint: If you are in the UK, you have the right to contact the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) regarding our data handling.

6. Data Security

We employ rigorous security measures, including HTTPS/SSL transit encryption, to protect your data. Your movie plans and credentials are encrypted and stored within Google's enterprise-grade Firebase cloud database, protecting your profile from unauthorized access.
